The official International Broadcast Centre (IBC) for the FIFA World Cup 2026TM has officially opened in Dallas. FIFA President Gianni Infantino completed an on-site trial of the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) system via Hisense RGB MiniLED displays and released a related experience video on his social media accounts. Serving as the tournament’s central media hub, the newly launched IBC has selected Hisense RGB MiniLED TVs as its display hardware to underpin global match coverage and live broadcasting.
The hub has been described by the FIFA President as "the most technologically advanced and top of the art international broadcast centre that the world has ever seen." Mr Infantino also visited the VAR room and simulated VAR refereeing work via Hisense RGB MiniLED TVs, getting a first-hand look at the precise viewing perspectives for match rulings.
Hisense RGB MiniLED TVs secured the deployment at the broadcast centre for its advanced technology, with each LED in this backlight uses three individual red, green, and blue diodes, working independently to create color directly from the source. It is capable of capturing ultra-fine visual nuances such as player confrontations, offside line markings and goal moments, providing solid technical backing for professional event reporting and live transmission. As The Origin of RGB MiniLED, Hisense continues to lead the next-generation RGB MiniLED innovation.
