Hisense core science and technology company limited separated from Hisense group’s ASIC development division and established it self with in august, 2005 with eighty staff members. Hisense group’s ASIC development division was founded in June, 2001. High definition numeral video frequency processor – Creators of “senseCore” VPE1X are the Hisense core science and technology company Ltd’s independent research and development team. We have obtained more than 19 patents on the area of video frequency processors, and 9 patents regarding its application, attaining intellectual property rights regarding this field. The pilot production test showed that the chip can significantly improve video image display quality, signal separation processing, scaling, as well as 3-D digital noise processing, jitter processing such as gamma correction processing quality improvement.

Named hiview senseCore by the experts this chip is design on an advanced international level specifically for use with digital high-definition TV to completely replace its identical foreign counterpart.
Mr An Young Cheng a senior expert in the electronics industry said that the birth of the chip and its application will completely break the current monopolization that overseas companies have supplying chips to china for the production of TV sets. The Chinese have produced about 75 million color TVs since the birth of the "core"
The current batch of VPE1X chips have already passed verification and testing and perform to leading domestic and international levels. The project will make use of existing technological achievements and continue to strive to perfect and develop the chip.

1.HD display processing chips Develop and produce high-quality, high level integration, cost-effective HDTV-ready chips.Current features include: signal separation, scaling, color enhancement, analog-digital conversion, NTSC / PAL decoder, MCU, OSD, HDMI.Further goals. In 2008 further develop the integrated functions of the current chip in areas of sound and video processing.The chip is divided into types. CRT monitors and flat-panel series according to consumer location. I.e. China, Europe and the United States series and other areas.
2. Digital TV integrated chips. Integrated RISC CPU MPEG2 HD processor, supports analog and digital TV reception and high-definition TV display. Including chips, boards, and software development tools, complete solutions. Development started in 2007 and chip development and debugging was completed in 2008.
Further develop the AVS/H264/MPEG4 codecs, integrated USB, IDE interface and support for multimedia playback and recording.
3.MPEG2, AVS,H264 HDTV(MP@HL)Decoder Support for the development of high-definition MPEG2, AVS, H264 decoder chip. Development of MPEG2, AVS HD decoder chip has already begun whilst further development of MPEG2, MPEG4, H264, AVS and other multi-standard video decoder chips.
