On Feb 2nd in Beijing, the results of the fifth “Best Corporate Public Image” award election were revealed. Hisense was one of the winners. This marks the fifth consecutive year that Hisense has been presented with this award. The award presentation comes directly after Hisense was presented with the eighth “China’s Most Respectful Enterprise” award.

Over 40 years since its founding, Hisense has built its operations on four values, which constitute the foundation of the company: technology, quality, integrity, and responsibility. Through placing such strong emphasis on these values, Hisense has won the respect and trust from its customers.
Hisense continues to place great importance on corporate philanthropy. In 2009, Hisense, along with the Provincial Charity League and 17 local civil administration organizations, donated RMB 100 million to establish a fund enabling the poor and elderly in Shandong Province to have a TV in their home. In addition, on the eve of Teacher’s Day, Hisense donated RMB 13.8 million to support education development in Qingdao.
As technology is a key element to Hisense’s success, the company largely devoted itself to the R&D of the inverter and energy-saving technologies in recent decades and, in 2009, developed the higher efficiency level 360° DC Inverter Air Conditioner and 6A refrigerator. What’s more, Hisense Ronshen launched the fifth generation energy-saving star refrigerator with a low electricity consumption level of 2.5 kwh per day.
