Hisense represents enterprises attending the quality and integrity forum to propose the initiative:To Build Quality and Integrity and Abide by Corporate Responsibility

On June 16 in Beijing, the quality and integrity forum was sponsored by SIQSAQ, the Ministry of Industry and Information, People's Bank of China, and the State Administration for Industry and Commerce with the theme, “Build the quality and integrity in order to increase consumers’ confidence". Through this, Hisense Group issued the initiative for Chinese enterprises’ quality and integrity. In this forum, the United Nations Committee of SIQSAQ issued the "corporate quality credit class measurements", which, after the implementation, all enterprises as well as their products will be integrated into a unified system for evaluation. Moreover, the forum also exposed a number of unqualified companies, and organized discussion on many issues, such as how to set up the system of quality credit, social credit, and business credit, and how to implement, supervise and avoid the credit crisis. About 400 representatives attended this forum, including principals from the NPC Standing Committee, the Central Propaganda Department, the Ministry of Commerce and those of Quality and Technical departments from all provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities and enterprises.
After strict evaluation, Hisense was chosen as the representative to launch the initiative to the whole country, which is due to Hisense’s great job in practicing its quality and integrity social commitment. What’s more, Hisense is among the first to win the "National Quality Management” Award, and many times, Hisense been accredited as the excellent enterprise of National Quality Management, and the prominent contributors of national quality management. It also won the first Chinese outstanding quality award, along many other distinguished awards. In the market, Hisense brand products are very popular among consumers, such as Hisense TVs, Hisense air-conditioners, Hisense refrigerators, Hisense mobile phones, Kelon air-conditioning, and Ronshen refrigerators. Hisense, by virtue of its reliable quality assurance and insistence in technological innovation and integrity management, has become increasingly competitive and, in the list of the top 500 large Chinese enterprises, the National Bureau of Statistic has ranked Hisense No.1 for two consecutive years. In addition, it’s chosen as the 2008 typical state-owned enterprise by Central Propaganda Department and the SASAC.
At the forum, Hisense VP, Mr. Guo Qingcun, was also invited to make the speech on "building the quality and integrity and abiding by corporate responsibility". He also summarized Hisense’s quality management concept and experience. He was then praised by all participating leaders, experts and scholars.
Hisense believes that "quality is the basis of business management." The quality of integrity is not only the basic responsibility for enterprises to follow, but also the lifeline. Hisense therefore will strictly enforce "7 Army Regulations in Quality Management". At the same time, Hisense has established a quality cost control system, R & D quality system, and energy saving management system, as well as strict accountability regulations. For instance, if a problem in quality occurs, the Quality Dept. of Hisense Group is entitled to punish the General Manager or the direct principals over quality control, with a demotion or termination.
Hisense believes that upgrading quality to a higher degree of social responsibility can benefit enterprises, consumers and the society. Also, our aim is to reduce e-waste, environmental pollution and energy consumption, reduce the waste of social wealth, as well as increase profit. For instance, Hisense TV products have done a great job in reducing quality loss, and have saved tens of millions of RMB, which effectively reduced the consumption and waste of social wealth. This is a reflection of the following scientific development concept.
Hisense expressed that it would continue to carry out the quality management in a higher standard, to fulfill corporate social responsibility and always maintain the leading position of technology and quality, so as to provide mass consumers with higher quality and excellent service and make its own contribution to the healthy development of the Chinese manufacturing sector.
