  • More than 10 categories of Hisense products Appear at the Canton Fair

    On April 15, the 105th Chinese Export Commodities Fair opened at Pazhou Hall at the Guangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center. Hisense took the lead in exhibiting more than 10 categories of new products, including flat-panel TVs, air conditioners, refrigerators, freezers, mobile phones, and PLC modules. Hisense’s resilience in light of the global financial crisis was reflected in its product portfolio and drew numbers from media and customers both at home and abroad.

    At the Hisense booth, there were new products featured in all product categories. For example, Hisense has just launched the Blue Media V88 Series flat-panel TV, with main features of full HD + Network Interconnection, which introduces Hisense’s 17 self-developed, patented technologies. These revolutionary technologies make it possible to reach internet multimedia resources through the television set and point us towards an industry transformation from "passive-watching TV" to "interactive-using TV". Hisense’s best-seller, the LED LCD TV, has four cutting edge advantages: the TV is slimmer, more colorful, more energy-efficient, and more environment-friendly. It’s developed through ground-breaking technologies and is certainly a brilliant achievement of China’s National 863 Plan, a state project by which 30 technology-patents have been developed.

    After 12 years accumulation of inverter technology, Hisense developed the 360° Full-DC inverter air conditioner, the "Royal Enjoyment" series, with outstanding high efficiency and energy saving features. For instance, the KFR-28GW/88FZBP, whose energy efficiency rating can reach as high as 6.30, has an average power consumption of only 0.24 degrees per hour. The annual power consumption (measured by national standards of 1136 hours annually) is only 277 degrees.

    The Hisense Multi-door Refrigerator applies the world's leading dual refrigeration and dual cycle technology, which, compared to ordinary refrigerators, saves 70 percent more power. The Hisense Multimedia Refrigerator drew large numbers from customers as it is equipped with both a camera and a multimedia LCD screen that screens digital photos.

    Hisense Vice President, Dr. Lan Lin, told reporters, “Thanks to the insistence of technological innovation and the adjustments of the industrial, marketing, and regional structures made in recent years, Hisense has realized a significant increase in quarterly profits in 2009.” In addition, Hisense places great significance on risk-control and firmly believes that "risk-control is more important than profit and profit more important than high sales performance". Hisense strives to improve the market size through risk-control and profit-sustainability.

    At the exhibition, the Egypt Sunshine Group President, James Hill, expressed his interest in Hisense products by saying, "What Hisense exhibits here is reflective of its innovative and high-tech spirit. In addition, these products exhibit no less than excellence in environmental protection and energy saving. Under the current global financial crisis, the company sustains significant profit growth, and we are very optimistic about working with them."

    Concerning the global market, Dr. Lan Lin commented that the countries that have been impacted most during the financial crisis are the developed ones. Since 2008, Hisense has been committed to expanding brand ownership and placing focus on certain key markets around the world. While major competitors, such as Sony, Hitachi, and Philips are undertaking a substantial loss while expanding into new regional markets, Hisense brand is gaining substantial sales traction in core markets, such as Australia, Africa, and Israel.
