The statistical data offered by China Market Monitor Co., Ltd. indicates that the accumulative sales volume and sales revenue for Hisense intelligent TV in June 2011 reached 22.9% and 21.4% respectively, both ranking 1st in the industry, edging out the second ranked company by 2.5% and 4.6% respectively. The market share of Hisense LED TV retail acquired a 21.40% volume, outperforming the second ranked company by 6.9%. The market share of Hisense flat panel TV retail achieved a 15.53% volume, ranking first for the eighth consecutive year.
In the overseas market, Hisense has gained a robust market share growth by implementing two overseas market development strategies of “independent brand” and “core market”. In Australia, it has ranked among the top five brands. Hisense TV is sold in 82 countries and regions with a reputation among the top in the global TV industry.
Hisense TV won universal acclaim from all sectors of society in the past 40 years. In 2001, Hisense TV became one of the first national free-inspection products followed by establishing China’s first domestic national key digitized multimedia lab in July 2007. In 2008, Hisense was selected as one of “the Ten Pace-Setting State-Owned Enterprises” by the Propaganda Department of the Central Committee of the CPC and National Development and Reform Commission for its outstanding performance in technological innovation and stable operation, the only kind in China’s electronic industry. HEC won “China Securities Market Golden Eagle Award” in November 2009 for the second time in a row for its outstanding operation performance and steady growth. In October 2010 for the second time, HEC won the “China Quality Award,” being the only enterprise to win the award since its establishment.
